Welcome to the 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament!

Join us for a day of golf and giving back at the beautiful Golden Eagles Golf Course in Pitt Meadows, BC. 

Thank you to all the golfers who are helping us make a difference. Your participation will directly contribute to hosting community family events, implementing school programs, and raising awareness of the importance of Rough & Tumble play in childhood development.

Let's hit the greens together for a great cause!

P.S. - we will have a photographer onsite, but you can opt-out of pictures if you'd like. We will have a media release form for those who don't mind taking their pictures taken.

This is a free community event, however space is limited, so please RSVP asap! This event will require moderate physical activity, so be prepared to sweat a little and of course, have fun playing! We will have Rough & Tumble Play moderators who will provide games for families to play and we will also be providing a brief intro before the activities begin.

Join us for our inaugural Rough & Tumble Play Golf Tournament Thursday September 14th, 2023 @ Golden Eagle Golf Club. Funds raised will provide opportunity and exposure for at risk children and youth into Rough and Tumble Play programs providing mentorship and structured physical activity.

Co-Hosted by Brett Sonne, former Pro Hockey Player and Kaitlyn Herbst former, Global News Weather and Traffic Anchor this day will be filled with fun for all, lots of prizes and on course entertainment followed by a great dinner, silent auction and inspiring stories about how our RTP programs are making a difference in the community.

About RTP;

We are a non-profit, community-based organization focused on helping children and youth engage in RTP activities in their communities and schools. These programs provide many benefits including physical, social, emotional and education growth helping challenged youth become engaged and contribute positively in their schools and communities.

Rough and Tumble Play Association of Canada consists of a team of dedicated volunteers including our founder Ed Tchoi. Ed has been passionate about delivering RTP programs to schools in his community of Maple Ridge, BC also with offering youth mentorship. As a Jiu Jitsu practitioner and a graduate of the Recreation Program from Lakehead University, Ed has combined these skillsets to delivery a programs that are engaging and stimulating for children and youth.

We work with children from all backgrounds, including those who may be experiencing extreme poverty, violence, mental health issues and many other difficulties. RTP provides access to physical activity and mentorship through its programs to help overcome the financial and social barriers these youth face, our goal and hope is to scale our programs throughout our communities and help as many children as we can. Your participation and donations provide Rough & Tumble Play the resources we need to train and hire coaches and mentors and space within our schools and communities to run these programs.
